Jonathan Thomas Cleveland is a swimmer who has competed for Canada. He competed at the 1988, 1992, and 1996 Summer Olympic Games.
Cleveland was highly regarded as Canada's top breaststroker in the 1990s, following the sudden death of Victor Davis in 1989. He started his Olympic career at Seoul 1988, when he landed on the penultimate spot among the top eight finalists in the 200 metres breaststroke. His misfortunes continued four years later in Barcelona, when he only reached the B-finals of the breaststroke double (100 and 200). He also helped the Canadian team of Mark Tewksbury, Stephen Clarke, and Marcel Gery snare the bronze in the men's 4x100 metres medley relay.
Cleveland has continued to be a member of the Canadian swimming team at his third Games in 1996, but he failed to attain a single medal nor advance from the heats in his races.
