Jodie Henry is a swimmer who has competed for Australia. She competed at the 2004 Summer Olympic Games.
On the first night of the competition, Henry anchored the Australian women's 4x100 metres freestyle relay team that solidified her country's gold-medal triumph with a new world record (3:35.96) for the first time in 48 years. In the 100 metres freestyle, she blasted the world record time (53.52) in the semifinals to shave 0.14 seconds off the mark set by Lisbeth Trickett at the Australian trials. She continued to beat the defending champion Inge de Bruijn by 0.32 of a second at the final lap to snatch the gold in the final. With this feat, Henry became the first Australian swimmer to win a gold medal in the women's 100 metres freestyle, since Dawn Fraser topped the podium in 1964. She also swam through the freestyle leg against Kara Lynn Joyce to deliver the Australian women their first ever title in the 4x100 metres medley relay. Henry closed out her only Games with three gold medals and three world records.
Henry sought to defend the 100 metres freestyle title for her second Olympic bid in Beijing, but she soon withdrew before the Games because of a pelvic complaint.
