Ireen Wüst is a speed skater who has competed for the Netherlands. She competed at the 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018, and 2022 Winter Olympic Games. She is the most successful Dutch athlete at the Olympic Games (winter and summer) as the first Dutch athlete to win five Olympic gold medals, and was the first athlete to win individual gold medals in four (successive) editions of the Winter Olympic Games.
She was in a relationship with Dutch short track speed skater Sanne van Kerkhof.
