Handball at the 1992 Summer Olympics was held from 27 July to 8 August 1992 at Palacio de Deportes de Granollers with the final round matches contested at Palau Sant Jordi.
For the first time, a semifinal round was added to the knockout phase of both the men's and women's tournament.
