The women's uneven bars of Gymnastics 2024 during the 2024 Summer Olympics was held on 28 July–4 August 2024 in the Bercy Arena. With 80 athletes competing, the event was won by Kaylia Nemour from Algeria, with Qiu Qiyuan from China taking the silver medal and Sunisa Lee from United States taking bronze.
Format[]
The competition exists out of two separate rounds. In the qualification, each gymnast performs an apparatus with only top eight gymnasts subjected to two-per-NOC limit advancing to the final. There, the finalists perform an additional exercise. The gymnast with the highest score wins the event.
Preview[]
Eighty athletes qualified for the event with plenty of medal contenders in the field. Nina Derwael was the defending Olympic champion, but Kaylia Nemour seemed to become a top favorite for the title after winning a silver medal at the most recent world championships and three golds at the world cup series.
