Gymnastics at the 1996 Summer Olympics consisted of artistic and rhythmic disciplines. Events were held from 20 July to 4 August 1996 at the Georgia Dome (for artistic) and the Stegeman Coliseum (for rhythmic).
This edition marked the debut of the women's rhythmic group all-around competition.
