Grigory Misutin is a gymnast who has competed for the Unified Team and Ukraine. He competed at the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympic Games. He is widely regarded as one of the successful male Ukrainian gymnasts in the 1990s since the fall of the Soviet Union.
Misutin's major Olympic success transpired at his debut in Barcelona where he won a total of five medals, including a gold-medal triumph with the Unified Team in the all-around routine. He secured a runner-up spot twice behind his teammate Vitaly Scherbo in the individual all-around and on the vault. He added another silver to his career haul on the horizontal bar and shared a runner-up tie with Yukio Iketani on the floor exercise.
Four years later in Atlanta, Misutin returned to his second Olympics as one of the most experienced members of the fledgling Ukrainian men's team. Though he and his teammates secured a bronze in the all-around, his results gradually declined in any of his individual events, failing to attain another medal.
