Ghirmai Efrem is a swimmer who has competed for Eritrea. He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympic Games, becoming the first Eritrean swimmer to do so in history. He was selected to carry the Eritrean flag during the opening ceremony of Tokyo 2020 with Nazret Weldu.
