The Gangneung Ice Arena (강릉 아이스 아레나) is an ice arena built specifically for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games. Its construction was finished in 2016, and it is located in the city of Gangneung, about an hour's drive from Pyeongchang. The venue is planned to be used for recreational purposes after the event. The venue hosted the events of figure skating and short track, and has a capacity of 12,000 seats.
