The Gangneung Hockey Centre (강릉 아이스하키 경기장) was constructed for Pyeongchang 2018, to host the men's tournament of the Ice hockey tournament, as well as the deciding matches of the women's tournament. It has a capacity of 10,000 seats, and the venue was completed in March 2017. It was located in Gangneung, in a cluster with several other venues. The construction of the venue was estimated to be around $90 million. Although it was long unclear what would happen with the venue after the Olympic Games, it was eventually decided to use it as a training venue towards Beijing 2022.
