Freestyle Skiing has been featured since the 1992 Winter Olympics. It is part of the Skiing program. It is the only discipline of this program to have appeared as a demonstration sport, having been featured in Calgary 1988.
North-American nations have won the most medals in this discipline, with Canada and the United States winning 25 medals, with Canada having 12 gold medals against 9 of the United States. France follows with 14 total medals in the sport, of which 3 gold.
