Football was introduced during the 1900 Summer Olympics, although it was not featured during Los Angeles 1932. It is the only sport to be held in multiple cities and multiple venues.
Brazil has won the most medals at the Olympic Games, winning eight medals, although their first gold medal was won at home soil in 2016. The United States has won the most gold medals, winning four, although these four have all been in the women's tournament.
