The pair skating of Figure Skating 1994 during the 1994 Winter Olympics was held on 13-15 February 1994 in the Hamar Olympic Amphitheatre. With 18 pairs competing, the event was won by Ekaterina Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov from Russia, with Artur Dmitriev and Natalya Mishkutenok from Russia taking the silver medal and Isabelle Brasseur and Lloyd Eisler from Canada taking bronze.
Format[]
The competition exists out of two separate rounds. The first round allows the pairs to perform a routine of a maximum of 2:40 minutes, after which the pairs with the twenty-four best scores perform another routine of around 4:30 minutes. The scores are based on the individual rankings of the judges, with each position earning one point. In each round, the pairs are ranked based on these ordinal points. The pairs with the fewest classification points after two rounds wins the competition.

Eighteen pairs qualified for the event with the 1988 Olympic champions Ekaterina Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov as the big favorites for the title. Both the defending Olympic champions Natalya Mishkutenok and Artur Dmitriev and the reigning world champions Isabelle Brasseur and Lloyd Eisler had had issues in recent training and competitions. Some other medal contenders included Jenni Meno/Todd Sand and Evgenia Shishkova/Vadim Naumov.
