Felix Loch has competed for Germany Felix Loch has won 3 gold medals at the Olympic Games

Felix Loch is a luger who has competed for Germany. He competed at the 2010, 2014, 2018, and 2022 Winter Olympic Games. He was the youngest Olympic gold medalist in men's luge history ever, winning the gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics, at the age of 20. He melted down his gold medal and gave a disk made from the metal to the family of Nodar Kumaritashvili after the Georgian athlete passed away during the training runs. After the third run of the 2018 Winter Olympics, he was placed second, and on course to win his fourth medal. However, he finished nineteenth out of twenty on the last run, ruining his good placement, eventually finishing fifth in the event. He was also the German flag bearer during the closing ceremony of Sochi 2014.

His father is luger Norbert Loch.
