Eswatini, formerly known as Swaziland, first participated at the Olympic Games in 1972, although it missed the two following editions to appear for the second time at Los Angeles 1984. The nation also appeared once at the Winter Olympic Games, in Albertville 1992.

Eswatini has never won a medal at the Olympic Games.

The Eswatini Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association was created in 1971 and recognized in 1972.
