The team jumping of Equestrian 2020 during the 2020 Summer Olympics was held on 6-7 August 2021 in the Tokyo Equestrian Park. With 19 teams competing, the event was won by the team from Sweden, with United States taking the silver medal and Belgium taking bronze.
Format[]
The competition exists out of two separate rounds. In the qualification, all competitors go through a course with several obstacles, with the goal to receive as few penalty points as possible as a team. The top 10 teams of the team qualifier advance to the final, with the team with the fewest penalty points after the final winning the event.

Nineteen teams qualified for the event with no real favorites in the field. France was the defending champion, having beaten the United States and Germany for the gold medal, but Great Britain and Switzerland had the two leaders in the individual world rankings with Ben Maher and Martin Fuchs. The Netherlands and Belgium were traditionally very strong, with also Sweden, and Brazil among the potential medal contenders.
