Edgar Aabye was a tug of war player who competed for a mixed team.
He competed at the 1900 Summer Olympic Games as part of the mixed Danish/Swedish team. He passed away on 30 April 1941, at the age of 75. He was a member of a mixed team of three Danish and three Swedish athletes that won a gold medal in the tug-of-war competition in 1900. He wasn't initially selected for the team, but he was at the event as a sports reporter. He was allowed to play when a member of the team got injured.
