The men's track sprint of Cycling 2024 during the 2024 Summer Olympics was held on 7–9 August 2024 in the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Velodrome. With 30 athletes competing, the event was won by Harrie Lavreysen from Netherlands, with Matthew Richardson from Australia taking the silver medal and Jack Carlin from Great Britain taking bronze.
Format[]
The competition exists out of two separate rounds. The qualification round decides who will race against each other in the following knock-out rounds, with all 30 athletes qualifying. In the first and second round, the one advancing is decided in a single head-to-head race, with the race being decided in a best-of-three in the quarterfinals and up. The first athlete to win two races in the final is the winner of the event.
