The men's bmx race of Cycling 2024 during the 2024 Summer Olympics was held on 1–2 August 2024 in the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Velodrome. With 24 athletes competing, the event was won by Joris Daudet from France, with Sylvain Andre from France taking the silver medal and Romain Mahieu from France taking bronze.

Format

The competition exists out of three rounds, each with races of up to eight boats. In each round, the top few with the fastest time advance to the next round. The fastest competitor in the final is the winner of the event.

Twenty-four athletes qualified for the event with plenty of medal contenders in the field after the defending Olympic champion suffered an inflammed heart muscle.
