Carlijn Schoutens is a speed skater who has competed for the United States. She competed at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games. She was born in the United States to Dutch parents and moved to the Netherlands at age six. She lives in Utah, but she studies in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and decided to switch to an American nationality, partially due to the competition for places in the Dutch team.
She is in a relationship with American speed skater Ian Quinn.
