The Capital Indoor Stadium (首都体育馆) in an indoor sports center in Beijing, China, constructed in 1968. Since its construction, the stadium has been used as location for milestones in many sports competitions, as the location for the ping pong diplomacy exchange program in 1971 between the United States and Canada, and as one of the stadiums to host the first NBA games in China, as well as the first-ever professional football game in the country. When the Olympic Games arrived in China in 2008, the stadium was used to host the indoor volleyball competitions, and fourteen years later, the stadium was repurposed to host the figure skating and short track competitions at the Winter Olympic Games in 2022.
