Brooke Hanson is a swimmer who has competed for Australia. She competed at the 2004 Summer Olympic Games.
In the 100 metres breaststroke, Hanson edged out her teammate Leisel Jones near the wall by a hundredth of a second (0.01) to snatch a silver with a time of 1:07.15. She dropped off the podium to last of the top eight finalists in the 200. She also swam through the breaststroke leg in the heats of the 4x100 metres medley relay before Jones replaced her on the Australian women's team that scored a gold with a new world record (3:57.32) in the final round.
