Olympics Wiki

The men's tournament of Breaking 2024 during the 2024 Summer Olympics was held on 10 August 2024 in the La Concorde. With 16 athletes competing, the event was won by Phil Wizard from Canada, with Dany Dann from France taking the silver medal and Victor from United States taking bronze.

Format[]

The competition exists out of four-member groups in a round-robin format, with each athlete performing a breakdance routine once. Matches were played best-of-three games. The two breakdancers with the most number of votes scored by the judges advance to the knock-out rounds. The knockout stage is a four-round single elimination tournament with a bronze medal match. The breakdancer to score two or three sets in the final wins the event.

Preview[]
