Bobsleigh has been featured at the Olympic Games since the 1924 Winter Olympics, and it has appeared at every Winter Olympic Games, except for Squaw Valley 1960. Women have been allowed to compete since Salt Lake City 2002.
The category itself also entails Skeleton.
Although Switzerland has won the most medals in bobsleigh, Germany has won more gold medals. The United States is the only other nation to have won over 20 medals in bobsleigh.
