The Beijing National Indoor Stadium (北京国家体育馆), which is also known as the The Fan due to its design, is an indoor sports centre in Beijing, China, which was used to host the rhythmic gymnastics and trampoline competitions and handball matches during Beijing 2008. After the Olympic Games in 2008, the sports centre was used as a multi-purpose venue, such as hosting several international sports competitions, including the ice hockey world championships in 2015. The stadium was later used to host the ice hockey competition at Beijing 2022, together with the Wukesong Sports Centre. The stadium has a regular capacity of 18,000 with an increase to 20,000 during international competitions.
