The women's 3000 metre steeplechase of Athletics 2024 during the 2024 Summer Olympics was held on 4–6 August 2024 in the Stade de France. With 36 athletes competing, the event was won by Winfred Yavi from Bahrain, with Peruth Chemutai from Uganda taking the silver medal and Faith Cherotich from Kenya taking bronze.

Format

The competition exists out of two rounds, each with races of up to twelve athletes. In the first round, the top three with the fastest time advance to the next round, together with the six fastest non-qualifiers. The fastest competitor in the final is the winner of the event.
