The women's 20 kilometre race walk of Athletics 2024 during the 2024 Summer Olympics was held on 1 August 2024 in the Pont d'Iena. With 45 athletes competing, the event was won by Yang Jiayu from China, with Maria Perez from Spain taking the silver medal and Jemima Montag from Australia taking bronze.

Format

The competition exists out of a single race, in which all competitors conduct a racewalking course of 20 kilometres. The competitor with the fastest time is the winner of the event.

Forty-eight athletes qualified for the event with the reigning world champion Maria Perez, 2023 world silver medalist Jemima Montag and the defending Olympic champion Antonella Palmisano as the top favorites for the title.
