The men's 100 metre of Athletics 2024 during the 2024 Summer Olympics was held on 3–4 August 2024 in the Stade de France. With 102 athletes competing, the event was won by Noah Lyles from United States, with Kishane Thompson from Jamaica taking the silver medal and Fred Kerley from United States taking bronze.
Format[]
The competition exists out of three rounds, each with races of up to nine athletes. In each round, the top two with the fastest time advance to the next round, together with a number of fastest non-qualifiers. The fastest competitor in the final is the winner of the event.
