Anthony Mosse is a swimmer who has competed for New Zealand. He competed at the 1984 and 1988 Summer Olympic Games.
Mosse was the standard bearer for New Zealand competitive swimming, along with Paul Kingsman, through the 1980s. He entered the finals of the butterfly double at his first Olympics in 1984, but he failed to attain a single medal in any of them, finishing sixth in the 100 and fifth in the 200.
Four years later in Seoul, Mosse returned to his second Games with the higher chances of improving his marks from Los Angeles. After landing on the tenth spot in the B-final of the 100 metres butterfly, he rebounded from his early exit to snare a bronze in the 200 metres butterfly with a New Zealand record of 1:58.28. Mosse's final time also trailed the runner-up Benny Nielsen of Denmark by the narrowest margins and the winner Michael Groß by more than a full second. With this feat, Mosse joined Kingsman as the first male swimmers from New Zealand to win an individual Olympic medal.
