Annette Nneka Echikunwoke is a track and field athlete who has competed for the United States. She competed at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games. She became the first American woman to ever win an Olympic medal in the hammer throw, claiming a silver medal.
Echikunwoke opted to represent Nigeria at Tokyo 2020 but she and nine other athletes were deemed ineligible by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) upon arriving in Tokyo due to a testing protocol error by the African Federation of Nigeria (AFN).
