Annemarie Verstappen is a swimmer who has competed for the Netherlands. She competed at the 1984 Summer Olympic Games.

Verstappen arrived at her first and only Olympics with a loaded swimming schedule of five events (three individual and two relay races). First, she pipped her compatriot Conny van Bentum by 0.35 of a second to secure the podium spot with her first bronze in the 100 metres freestyle. She also cracked a two-minute barrier to add another bronze in the 200 metres freestyle, separating her from the American duo of Mary Wayte and Cynthia Woodhead by a 0.19-second margin. She barely missed the podium by two tenths of a second in the 100 metres butterfly and was disqualified from the prelims with the Dutch women's 4x100 metres medley relay team because of an early takeoff by anchor Desi Reijers. The 4x100 metres freestyle relay turned to be a crucial moment for Verstappen and the Dutch women's team. There, she blasted the field with the fastest lead-off split of 55.94 to boot the Dutch women's team to the front ahead of the American hosts, but her other teammates could not maintain their pace on the next legs, leaving them with a silver by almost a full second behind their rivals.
