Angel Martino is a swimmer who has competed for the United States. She competed at the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympic Games.

Martino was highly regarded as one of the world's top sprint freestyle swimmers in the 1990s. Throughout her two-time Olympic career, she won a total of six medals. Three golds were attributed to her role in all relay races, two of which stemmed from the 4x100 metres freestyle relay. On the individual side, Martino claimed her first bronze in the women's 50 metres freestyle at her Olympic debut in Barcelona, trailing the Chinese duo of Yang Wenyi and Zhuang Yong by almost half a second. Four years later in Atlanta, she added two more bronze to her medal haul in the 100 metres freestyle and 100 metres butterfly.

Martino was initially selected to the U.S. swimming team at Seoul 1988, but she was later disqualified after testing positive for nandrolone.[1]
