Andriy Serdinov is a swimmer who has competed for Ukraine. He competed at the 2000, 2004, and 2008 Summer Olympic Games.
After failing to advance from the heats at Sydney 2000, Serdinov returned to his second Games in 2004 as a medal favorite in the 100 metres butterfly. There, he blasted a new Olympic record time (51.74) to shave 0.22 seconds off Geoff Huegill's mark from Sydney in his semifinal heat before Michael Phelps lowered it to 51.61 on the next heat. He continued to snare a bronze with a European time of 51.36 in the final, trailing the American duo of Phelps and world record holder Ian Crocker in a close race by 0.11 seconds. He also placed sixth as a butterfly swimmer of the Ukrainian men's team in the 4x100 metres medley relay.
Serdinov aimed for another medal at his third Games in 2008, but he dropped to seventh in the final of his pet race.
