Andrew Hoy is an equestrian who has competed for Australia. He competed at the 1984, 1988, 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004, 2012, and 2020 Summer Olympic Games. He became the first Australian athlete to ever participate in eight Olympic Games and the oldest Australian (aged 62) to ever win medals at his eighth Games in 2020. He was also selected to carry the Australian flag during the Atlanta 1996 opening ceremony.
He is married to German eventing rider Bettina Hoy.
