Alpine Skiing has been featured since the 1936 Winter Olympics. It is part of the Skiing program. Women have been allowed to compete since the start in 1936.
Austria is the only country to have won more than 100 medals in alpine skiing, with Switzerland and France gathering a total of 114 medals as well.
