Alberto Abalde is a basketball player who has competed for Spain.
He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympic Games. Despite being 25 years of age at his Olympic debut, he was one of the youngest players of the Spanish men's basketball team, only behind Usman Garuba and Xabi Lopez-Arostegui. He played over an hour spread out over four Games, scoring 16 points, including four three-pointers. The team won two of their Games in the group stage, only losing to Slovenia, after which the quarterfinal was also lost against the United States.
His sister Tamara Abalde has also competed at the Olympic Games in basketball.
