Agostino Abbagnale is a rower who has competed for Italy. He competed at the 1988, 1996, and 2000 Summer Olympic Games. After the 1988 tournament, he knocked one of his team members' gold medal into the water, where it was recovered two days later. After this, he had to endure an illness, which is why he missed the 1992 Olympic Games. The same illness caused him to retire in 2003.

He is the younger brother of Carmine and Giuseppe Abbagnale.
