Adelina Sotnikova is a figure skater who has competed for Russia. She competed at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games. She was the first Russian female figure skater to win the Olympic gold medal in the singles. Because of a long-term injury, she was unable to defend her Olympic title in 2018.
